Economic Indicators  is a monthly bulletin prepared for the Congressional Joint Economic Committee by the Council of Economic Advisers. It is available online at   www.gpoaccess.gov/indicators/index.html  Employment data is on the page titled, "Employment, Unemployment, and Wages."

Economic Indicators is also available in the Reference Room on the second floor of the Peoria Public Library. Because of the time required for printing and distribution, the library copy is usually about two months behind the issue that is available online.

The Economist  is a weekly journal published in England. It is available for purchase or browsing on the magazine stands at Barnes & Noble and Borders bookstores. It is also available in the Reference Room on the second floor of the Peoria Public Library. Unemployment and other economic and financial data for European countries are included in tables on the last several pages at the back of the magazine.

Employment and Earnings is a monthly bulletin prepared by the Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. It is available in the Reference Room on the second floor of the Peoria Public Library. Because of the time required for printing and distribution, the data is available in tabular form online a month or more before the bulletin arrives at the library.

Unemployment data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics is published monthly in Employment and Earnings (see above on this page). It is available online on the day the data is released to the public. http://stats.bls.gov/webapps/legacy/cpsatab1.htm
